Edumine is an Internet source of online continuing education and technical reference for the mining and geoscience communities . This site has a number of excellent courses offered in exploration, evaluation, engineering, environment, mining, management, mineral processing, and computer application, as well as mine groundwater and surface water.

The National Groundwater Association (NGWA) site has a listing of NGWA short courses offered by agencies in the United States for their continuing education programs. The NGWA Events page has a calendar of events relating to the ground water industry.

The Princeton Groundwater Inc. site provides a listing of groundwater modelling courses offered in the United States. Many of the courses are affiliated with the courses offered by the NGWA. Some of the software packages taught are Visual MODFLOW, FLOWPATH, RT3D and the WH1 Unsat Suite for 1D transport.

Waterloo Hydrogeologic does training internationally for their groundwater modeling software. They provide software in aqueous geochemistry, borehole geology, groundwater modeling, natural attenuation, parameter estimation, pumping test analysis, risk assessment, software utilities, unsaturated zone modeling and 2-D/3-D visualization.

Geo-Slope International does training internationally for their geotechnical and geo-environmental modeling software. SEEP/W, VADOSE/W, SEEP/3D and CTRAN/W are examples of Geo-Slope's modeling software developed for groundwater and contaminant modeling.
