Project Description

The Artic Project is a proposed open pit copper mine currently in the permitting stage. RGC completed the assessment of the geochemical, geotechnical and hydrological conditions at this site as phase I of a pre-feasibility study. Services included ARD/metal leaching characterization of the waste rock and proposed open pit, geotechnical assessment of open pit mining scenario and regional hydrological study. Phase II to comprise more detailed assessment of above as well as mine waste management and mine design, hydrogeological investigation, cost estimates and permit applications.
