Syncrude Oil Sands Project
Project Description
This project represents one of the largest mining projects in the world and the largest single source producer of synthetic crude oil in Canada. RGC was retained to review the project’s lease-closure plan and mine closure plan as experts in the field at a time when mine closure regulatory requirements for oil sands were just developing in Alberta and professional guidance was very much required.
